Strong Mind, Strong Body

Workouts and physical activity may not be enough to achieve peak fitness. Many scientists, nutritionists, and allied health science experts have highlighted that the key to fitness rests in a comprehensive lifestyle change that includes healthy diet, physical activity, yoga, and meditation on a regular basis.

Daily practice can result in positive mental and physical results (Renjen & Chaudhari, 2017). Meditation benefits physical health by increasing immune system functions, regulating hormone output, and lowering cellular inflammation.

Also, long-term meditators have higher levels of disease-fighting chemicals in their bodies than non-meditators or beginners, according to several studies.
Meditation connects our internal and exterior worlds. It wakes the body and improves all aspects of both the conscious and subconscious mind.

Both, transcendent and mindful meditation techniques have been shown to increase the brain's problem-solving and decision-making methods, which can result in a positive shift in our professional lives.

So, before getting a cup of coffee and getting straight to work, take some time to breathe. Acknowledge the day and the work you have to do within it, and look forward to what your work will bring.
