Want to Naturally improve your Focus?

Have you ever noticed how meditation draws you into the present moment? When we meditate, we naturally develop mindful awareness, and we achieve a state of 'flow,' in which our mind is in total harmony with itself. A study on the benefits of an eight-week mindful meditation course discovered that persons who practice meditation on a regular basis had improved attention and concentration span.

At the end of the day, mindfulness is just being aware. When we're not just trying to pull ourselves up by our bootstraps and go back to meditating, we're lot better at staying present. What we are training is the capacity to recognize when overload has inundated our system with the old culprits such as adrenaline and cortisol, the presence of which makes receiving, processing, or integrating information nearly difficult.
Mindfulness can help us recognize what we require to be well. Then, when life throws us on roller coasters, we can keep our seats. We may create room for what we need while also providing ourselves with a plethora of options to be open and present to the magnificent adventure of each moment.

Intentionally choose to focus on the breath, but be precise. You might choose to notice the flow of air in and out of the left nostril, or the action of the rib cage as it expands and contracts. Stay extremely close to the ever-changing sensations that you might notice in that one little spot. What do you notice when you choose to focus so precisely?
